Built by a Ghanaian engineer to simplify school management
GHBasic Pro was founded by Richard Tettey, a First Class Electrical and Electronics Engineering graduate and software developer with a passion for building practical technology solutions.
During his interactions with schools, teachers, and administrators, Richard observed how much time was being spent on manual calculations, report card preparation, and student record management. Many schools were still relying on spreadsheets, paper records, and repetitive administrative work that consumed valuable teaching time.
Motivated by these challenges, he began developing GHBasic Pro as a modern, easy-to-use platform tailored specifically for Ghanaian basic schools. The goal was to create a solution that would automate routine tasks, reduce errors, and help educators focus more on teaching and student development.
Today, GHBasic Pro continues to evolve through feedback from schools and educators across Ghana. Every feature is designed with simplicity, reliability, and the practical needs of school administrators in mind.
What started as a single idea has grown into a mission: helping schools embrace digital tools that save time, improve accuracy, and make academic administration easier for everyone involved.
